Correction In the article “ILWU: Don’t Handle Scab Borax!” (WV No. 956, 9 April) we wrote, “A significant factor in the labor statesmen’s sellout of the [1995 Australian miners’] Weipa struggle was their desire to defuse the situation for the benefit of the Labor Party in elections that year.” Actually, the federal elections occurred on 2 March 1996.
